My buddy and I went to Allegany State Park for hiking and fishing, but spent most of the time either getting wet or trying to dry out. So glad to be home and dry, though I wouldn't trade the rainy weekend camping for anything. You are absolutely right that camping is the greatest thing in the world. I, like you, have numerous great memories from my childhood that revolve around camping. I hope that you consider getting Aidan in the Cub Scouts, and eventually the Boy Scouts when he gets old enough. Give me a call sometime if you need someone to camp with.
