So I keep reading that driving 55 will save you some gas. Ok, I figured I’d give it a shot. I set my cruise control at 55 and let her rip down 390. SHOCKER….nobody drives 55. I’d even hazard a guess that most people don’t even drive 65. Try it sometime, it’s really kind of amusing how slooooowww it feels.

Billy, I heard that setting your cruise control may not save you gas. Depending on the terrain… for instance if you’re going up/down hills the cruise control will have to rev up the engine so that your vehicle can stay at the same speed.
The moral of this story is that no matter what we do, we’ll have to pay an arm and a leg for gas
