Don’t ask me how it happened, because I still can’t figure it out myself. I came home from work tonight and headed to the small bathroom off my kitchen. I stepped into the room, turned to one side to close the door, and when I turned back I felt my bluetooth headset fall off my ear. My $100 bluetooth headset. It made a nice “plunk” noise as it fell into the toilet. I turned on the light and there it was, in the bottom of the toilet….a $100 paperweight. I would have flushed it if I didn’t have a septic tank. I’ll call AT & T tomorrow and get another one. Hey, let’s keep this between us how it bit the dust. I’ll come up with a better story. Hmmm. “I was pushing t-bird out of the way of an out of control oncoming gas truck, and my head hit the pavement, smashing the earpiece into hundreds of pieces.” Yeah, that’s the ticket.
