    Eddie Montgomery from Montgomery Gentery called in today and hosted the 5 o’clock whistle with me. These guys are so genuine and down to earth. I had the pleasure of hanging out with them a few years ago and they really do treat you like family. “You thirsty? Can I get you a beer?” That’s one thing I don’t think an artist has ever said to me! What you see is what you get with the guys. They are all about making great music, having a good time, and making their shows affordable to everyone who wants to party with MG.     The other day was my son Aidan’s 4th birthday. You gotta have a cake with candles, right? Well, he leaned over the cake to blow out the candles and, well, spit happened.  A big line of drool hit one corner of the cake. “um, you guys want cake?” I asked. The look on their faces was priceless. “How about some from the OTHER side of the cake?” It was good cake, at least from the right side of the pan.
