High Falls Ghost Hunt
Entercom media owns a bunch of radio stations in Rochester, including WBEE, The Buzz, WCMF and 98 PXY. A few weeks ago Pat, the procuder from the breakfast buzz, mentioned his plans to do a ghost hunt here at our High Falls studios. I had not heard all the stories that my coworkers have experienced here. I LOVE those goofy ghost hunting shows on tv and with my background in video production I offered to help out with the project. I expected a quiet evening. I left here over the weekend thinking we didn’t get anything on tape. Man, was I wrong!! We have a few recordings that gave me the goose bumps. I’m working on putting the video together and will hopefully have it posted in the next few days. Hi, Billy! I’m a big fan of yours & WBEE. I listen all day at work & I heard Weslea mention yesterday that the Bee’s building is rumored to be haunted. And now I read your blog above about the hunt. I look forward to seeing/hearing what you caught.
I am the case manager & co-founder of the Paranormal Research & Observation Society (PROS), a newly-formed group of about 20 paranormal investigators in the Rochester area. My brother Paul & I are former members of Western NY Paranormal who have started our own group. Together, we have over 3 years of organized investigating & about another 5 years of investigation on our own before that.

One time a ghost lied to me but it didn’t work, I could see right through them.

The voices you were hearing are EVP’s, and are VERY real. I host and produce a television show called Mystic Encounters, and we investigate paranormal activity. We’ve done several investigations in the Rochester area on Season One including The Green Lantern Inn, The Fairport Village Hall, Eastman Dental Dispensary, and others. We’ve captured over 20 crystal clear EVP’s alone in our 6 episodes. Other experiences included footsteps approaching, cold spots, ectoplasm, orbs, and partial aparitions.
We would love to investigate the High Falls Studios sometime, and would consider including it as an episode for Season Two which begins shooting in two weeks. Our show can currently be seen all around the area on Cable Access Television.
