I know, it sounds crazy, but think about it for a moment. My own little “field of dreams” would look something like this:

-Set up a stage in front of the screen.

-Trucks backed into the spots. 

-Concert starts around dusk.

-Show a movie after the music is done.

      Combining the fun of tailgating at a concert WITH the concert itself! What else could be added to the list to make the best friggin’ party EVER?!

   My son Aidan has ALOT of energy. I spend most of the time at a grocery store chasing him. The kid loves to run. He always comes back to me, but it’s always a little scary (and annoying) when he takes off down the isle. Tonight was different. I needed some groceries and headed over to the Big M in Hilton (Westside!) and Aidan grabbed this little plastic shopping cart. I’d never noticed them before. Man, did it do the trick. He stayed by my side almost the entire time. God bless the plastic shopping cart!!!!!

    The other day was my son Aidan’s 4th birthday. You gotta have a cake with candles, right? Well, he leaned over the cake to blow out the candles and, well, spit happened.  A big line of drool hit one corner of the cake. “um, you guys want cake?” I asked. The look on their faces was priceless. “How about some from the OTHER side of the cake?” It was good cake, at least from the right side of the pan.
